LeBron James' DUNK SHOW in Philippines (2015 Nike RISE event)
On August 20, 2015, LeBron James traveled to the Manila, Philippines as a guest appearance for the Nike RISE program in the country. Nike RISE is a weekly reality show that focuses on finding talented basketball players in terms of their skills and stories in the Philippines.
LeBron entered the game with 10 minutes remaining in the game, and he gave the audience a show with his high-flying dunks.
Philippines-raised and born Kobe Paras who is currently playing for the Los Angeles Cathedral also made an appearance in the event.
Nike RISE events also include Nike athletes such as Kobe Bryant, Paul George, and Anthony Davis who had made his 2015 tour around cities like Guangzhou, Hong Kong, Beijing and Shanghai.

The 2015 NBA Champion and MVP, Golden State Warriors Stephen Curry paid his first ever visit to Manila, Philippines as part of his Under Armour Asia Road Tour on September 6, 2015.
Under Armour is shuttling Stephen Curry around Asia, as part of a promotional push for his latest signature kicks, the Curry 2. Just a month ago, LeBron James also visited Manila as a part of the Nike RISE tour program back in August 2015.
The NBA’s reigning MVP played ball with some kids and several players from Smart Gilas Pilipinas in Manila, displaying his pristine shooting and ball-handling skills.
Curry even threw down a rare reverse jam at the end of the event as an appreciation for the crowd at the Mall of Asia Arena.
*Stephen Curry left his initial basketball endorsement Nike, and signed with Under Armour in 2013 instead. Under Armour had signed Curry to a contract extension through the year 2024, which is worth close to $4 million per year.
